I've seen that occur when trying to run an older game on these newer faster pc's. It is more of a hiccup than anything. You may need to run the mo-slo utility to slow down your pc.

thanks everyone. this disk is wiz gold from the ultimate archives with box, book... i think someone said something to me about a patch from sir tech. do you think i could get that? not that i won't be trying all that other stuff right about now. thanks

i went through crap like this on the Mac for this game. there was a patch from sir tech. anyway good luck.

thanks anyway Pangur Ban, but the patch didnt work. after i downloaded it, i got an error message saying there was a problem with WIZARD.EXE im at my wits end, and im dying to play this game but im still open to any and all suggestions
