It started in 1986 I think as a 10 hour mini-series, then had a tv series that lasted 1 season.. I really loved it back then. NOW I look back and it looks cheesy, but still kinda brings back memories..

I actually watched a number of those shows. Yeah it was really cheesy.
But we were so hard up for Sci Fi on TV back then. I would have watched about anything. The Mini series was ok as I remember though.

Oh Ziroc, I LOVED V. One of the best things ever shown on TV - although the 2nd 'series' where the girl grew up sucked big-time, the original was superb! Oh, the '80's hairstyles! I just loved it, included good social comment, but not in a patronising or preachy way.

Yes indeed. I watched every episode and read the books. Funny, when Earth Final Conflict came out the first thing that went through my mind was "V" spin-off!

The mini-series was good, but I didn't like the TV show. I saw the mini-series again about a year or two ago on The Sci-Fi channel.

Actually, there were 2 mini-series, followed by the "regular" series.

The first mini-series ended with the beginnings of the revolt against the Visitors.

The second mini-series was all about the world wide revolution and the birth of the cross-species baby. (Actually twins. The human looking one that survived and the alien looking one that did not.)
