Hello all. I have a big problem here. I and some friends have BG. We would like to play a multi-player game together. We all have BG and totsc. Along with any patches we know of. When any of them or I, try to join one anothers games, we see the box with the hosts name in it. But, we try to join and the game freezes on us. Making it a royal pain. I know you can go to gamespy and pay to play on their server. We are just trying to get it to work. Please any information you can give would be GREAT! Pre-emtive thank you for your response.

In the configuration program, check your frames per second, all of you should have the same (30 is ok). Also be aware to have enough cache (more than 250, i reccommend having at least 300).

Apart from this and the version problem (must have the same patch), dunno what else could be.

Keep us informed

I need some help to play BG in multiplayer.
We are 2 player connect in a network. we have each an IP adress. We both have the same setup(frame per sec, cache memory, same version etc...) We both have
BG cd's except for TOTSC that we only have one disc and a burned version of this same cd. When i start a game, the other player enter my IP adress and the game name appear he clck to join it but at this moment is cpu freeze and he have to restart it.
I'd like to know if the reason it doesn't work it's because we have a burned cd.

thanks
