Hopefully this can be discussed without spoilers. I just finished ToTL completely, and got out of the castle to Lonelywood, but the final battle was quite disappointing. No XP for killing the bard, no quest XP, no treasure, nothing! Is that it, or did I miss something?

You don't get any special items for finishing the ToTL. It does however add more weapons and bags of holding to the game.
ToTL was originally created to be a part of HoW. However there was a lack of disc space to continue with it as such. So the programmers decided later on to release as a free download and they added some fixes to it as well. Thus creating ToTL. So being that ToTL was released as a kind of 'finalization' to IWD. It may not actually have a quest XP reward for finishing it. Personally I was glad to get out of it, being as my characters were not of proper levels in the first place to be there. So I didn't notice if there was quest XP for finishing it. Now my curiosity is peaked I think I'll make another run through.... just to see what the XP total is for ToTL. |

I know, it is a bit diaapointing, isn't it? Kill the bard, world is saved... and you don't even get to keep what you find in the end. I couldn't even find any decent stuff on teh way there!

I think the point of ToTL is just to survive and escape. Freedom is your reward.
