If you attack him, he Dimension-Doors away.
Even if he didn't, you wouldn't be able to kick his butt, 'cause he is indeed a Cleric/Mage, only he's one with 1000 HPs and immunity to all types of damage (that's 100% resistance, so no matter how hard you whack him, he can't be damaged) Maybe you could kill him with instant-death-spells if he would only stay put, but most of those require the target to have less than a specific amount of HPs for them to work. Bottom line is, while the squirrel can be killed, the hermit is invincible. EDIT: On the word "invincible", ominous music starts to play, complete with thunder and lightning effects. wait a minute; the squirrel can be killed? I must have missed that post, cuz everywhere i look people are talking about the "invincible squirrel." Oh sure, some people claim to have killed it, but mostly they sound like little kiddies trying to sound cooler than Drizzt Do'Urden. I never had more than an idle curiosity with that squirrel. I've certainly ment it no harm. Isn't it just a little unusual that it can fight a cyclops and not flinch?
As for that hermit in Kulduhar pass. He's annoying. He just HAS to tell you the way to Kuldahur. Well, i just tell him to buzz off and stop pestering me. Since he LIVES to help you get to Kuldahur, i've found that ignoring him causes him to sit and wait there indefinately. There's no clear purpose for this behavior, i just noticed it. |
