Anomen TOB (may contain spoiler)

It`s probably been dissuced here before, but I could not find an answer to my question anywhere.

I`ve completed the Anomen romance in SOA (we declared our undying love for eachotehr and all that) but the romance seems to have come to a sudden halt in TOB. He hasn`t said anything to me.

I`ve read that the romance is mostly event based, but I have reached the "City of Monks" and still nothing, nadda, zero.

Does anybody know what is going on?

The "Gorion" ghost said "How much pain will you cost the one you love, the man you call Anomen" and I should think that this means that the romance is still active.

If the "Gorion" ghost says you're still romancing, then you *are* still romancing... he'll only bring up your romance in conversation if the romance is still active.

If you have the CLUAConsole enabled (if those last few words were gibberish to you, let us know), you can type...

CLUAConsole:GetGlobal("AnomenRomanceActive","GLOBAL")

... & if it says it's at 2, the romance is still going on (if it's at 3, it's over).

Anomen should give you an item at some point if the romance is still active - have you gotten that?

I`m not entirly sure about the CLUAConsole thingy but it said:
"Lua:-argument 3 of fuction. SetGlobal should be typed long"

Whatever that means.

He hasn`t given me anything or said anything. I have even tried to pause the game and leave it on for the day, but even that doesn`t help.

Hm...seems like the NPC romance can be just has difficult as the real-life.

The ToB lovetalks are event-triggered, not time triggered. If Anomen didn't talk to you some time *after* you defeated the Gorion ghost, something's wrong.

Well... What alignment is he now? And did you import this game, or transition right into ToB from Rillifane's temple after Ellesime's speech?

This late in the game I would have no idea how to go about fixing it.... It's something that you should have reloaded earlier on. But without insight as to how the lovetalks were triggered, that would have been impossible.

I transitioned the game right after finishing SOA.

Anomen is a Chaotic Netural (I didn`t get him knighted or anything)

I have tried to re-load the game, starting at earlier points, but everything is still the same. The "Gorion" ghost still claims that he is the man I love, but Anomen doesn`t say anything to me.

I mean....shouldn`t there at least be a breake-up speech or something if he decided to dump me?
