I am not to sure I think when you meet up with him you need to axcept his word and forgive him. I did except his oath or what ever it was but he still is CE. Does not matter to me though he kicks ass.

Every 30 mins of real time play you will get some dialog with Sarevok, so I did the following. Crank speed to 60 fps, pick up Sarevok in the pocket plane and wait (he will now talk to you every 15 mins). Don't make him swear a geas (not sure if this is crucial though) and tell him that you couldn't let him go after your destiny is fulfilled knowing that he will commit evil deeds. He replies that he *is* evil, but you can tell him there is always an alternative to being evil. During dialog number 3. he will ask that he be your right hand man in an amry of terror, but tell him to get lost because you have other plans. After this, he understands and begins to see the light. His alignment changes to chaotic good after either the 3 or 4 piece of dialog (can't remember which). You can now play right through ToB with an awesome chaotic good fighter. The good Sarevok also begs you to take a different path than the evil one at the destiny ending.

Sharpedge,

In the BG2 configuration screen, going to miscellaneous, under AI options is frame rate. Default is 30 frames per second. Setting this to 60 doubles the speed of the game, so instead of waiting 30 minutes of real time play between dialogs, you only need to wait 15. It proved useful to me when I tried the Jaheria romance, and within 45 mins can make Sarevok chaotic good!

How to change Saervok's Alignment?
First, get a Very Large Pan, and put olive oil in it.
Then bring it to a boil, (until it starts to crackle) then chop your saervok, and place the meat into the pan.
Season him with garlic, msg, bazil, and a teriyaki sauce and cook him for 45 mins and VOILA! a wholesome meal for the whole family! (for sqeamish kids, tell thim its "chicken and beef"

Ah, ta for the clarification. I didn't realise you could do that! I may just try that out for the romances I haven't done. Thanks.

Just a note that you'd better have a high-end machine if you're going to do this.

You can also advance dialogue by pressing CTRL+I (sort of).
