Where did my friend Hendak go? (Spoilers)

I can't seem to find Hendak after doing the Coronet/slavers' den quest. All the bad people are dead in both places. I sent the children home with some gold. I've been trying to find Hendak to wrap up the quest, but he's nowhere in sight. I don't remember this happening before. Anyone? Thanks.

Look around some more--search the entire "back rooms" area, and keep checking the area by Bernard from time to time--and hit Pause regularly: It shows the circle around everyone's feet, so you can see people more easily.

Thanks - I'll give that a shot.

Very frustrating. This is the first time I've played an evil character. I decided to clear out the slavers because they attacked me en route from one district to another. So, really, they started it. And this is the thanks I get from Hendak! I'll keep looking.

ED: Found him. He was lurking right behind a door in the one place I hadn't look. Beats me what he was checking on.

He was missing on me recently, but I had quite a few bugs, which I eventually put down to a clash between the Item-Upgrade mode and the Shadows Over Soubar mod. I reinstalled yesterday minus Item Upgrades... lets hope it goes better this time.

Oh, I consolled him back in, too, before I gave up on the game.
