NWN2 - King of shadows

Help

I am fighting the king of shadows and I can beat him but then he spawns and I lose. Amon jerro suggests the web statue to hold them but how do I activate it and do any of those statues do anything?

part 1 - beat the KOS

part 2 - defeat the swarms of little KOS's - have Ammon stand near the web statue that recharges his ability, then cast, recharge, cast, recharge, cast, recharge..... (whew). Your character can do the same rinse and repeat thingy with the cleansing nova statue. Web of purity and cleansing nova work very well together

part 3 - destroy statues, then portal

part 4 - kill KOS for good....
.
part 5 - give KOS a final salute

What special powers or spell are we on about with ammon jerro - he just seems to get killed first.

Howdy Wellard,

Web of purity is an ability he has from the first step of the ritual of purification. Your character completes the other four steps.

One of the other statues regenerates something like 20hp/round if you need some healing.

Right o - I try that but he keeps getting killed - there are 10 shadows - and though it works on a few I think they just respawn and kill him again - is the web supposed to hold them because they just run around causing havoc.

If your player character hits 'em with cleansing nova, all shadows in the web are affected. Hit 'em hard and fast, using the statue(s) to recharge.

Elanee can kick in with entangle and storm of vengeance. Summoned thingies can also tie some of the mini-kings up.

As an alternative, order the others to guard you, camp at the cleansing nova statue and just zap those suckers yourself. Put the ability in a quick-slot to ease the burden.

*Eventually* they stop coming
