Definitely interesting!
Related to the watch, I know that builders used to write their names on the materials they used to build farmhouses and such. An old colleague of mine was building a house with material salvaged from other buildings, and he found quite a few. Inside our piano, there are also notes from several of the piano tuners who've worked on it. Pretty cool, that...
