Ahem, so don't Fire Seeds qualify as weapons? They do go in the weapon slot

i doubt this is right, but i recall that the rods of terror/smiting didnt have a red background, but when equiping on a monk, there came a "monks can not use 2-handed weapons"(or something like that) message.

Dubious, like all magically created items. All classes can also do the infamous potion swap -> BBoD scroll trick.

No, the item I have in mind is an item. It's permanent, it's not created by any spell, and is very hard to come by in the game.

i like spears...and making orc/yuan-ti kabobs! is it the crom faeyer? thats a rockin' hammer and it took me a while to make...if its not, is it like the wave or another "legendary" weapon?
