Thank you Bungleau. Yikes, I heard it was bad in Chicago last night. Glad you got home safely!

We had snow this morning and I opted to stay home. It didn't add up to alot but it was bad visibility at rush hour. I got some baking done for company that's visiting tomorrow.

You're welcome, Cloudster. And what do you mean, you didn't get a lot of snow? I thought Albany was hit hard... guess I must have been dreaming.

We had six inches of snow on the driveway this morning... cleaned that off, and when the plows came by later, they put all of it back on the bottom of the driveway. Cleaned that up after lunch.

Kids went sledding at school today (which was cancelled because of the snow). The dog went with them and had a great time running around in the snow piles, apparently. He's now upstairs doing his best impersonation of a log...

One day back today, then off to another customer on Monday. At least they're local... about ten minutes from here. Back Tuesday, and another customer on Wednesday, over in the Detroit area. That's about a 2-1/2 hour drive... not too bad, all things considered Back Thursday and Friday, and then Atlanta for Monday and Tuesday of the week after. Then somewhere, I need to go to Fort Wayne for another customer -- another 2-3 hour drive. Gotta love those...

On a bright note, my repaired laptop arrived yesterday, and I'm in the process of restoring it back to its "me" state, with all my stuff loaded. Woohoo! My old laptop is just fine, but the new guy is loads faster... and stronger... and powerfuller... and neater...

Haven't heard the official count but from the looks of our driveway it looks like we got about 5 or 6 inches today, not the 10 that some folks around us got! I have friends in Poughkeepsie who got about 8 inches of snow this morning. It came down fast and heavy but it stopped around noon here.

Have fun drying off the dog and the kids after the sledding! Oooh.. new laptop! Cool!

I wouldn't have minded, but we lost . Anyway, in rugby it can be MUCH worse.

Well, you could always do what I do. Sit there and stare off into space until you have to do something

Too bad about the game, Szass, but at least you didn't have anything broken this time!

LOL, DrowArchmage, if you're that bored, maybe you need a new game or a hobby... you could teach Ilander's ferret (sig pic) how to open pop top cans or something.
