Can I play it in Australia?

Not sure about region compatabilities or NTSC/PAL thing.

If they're PC games yeah, PS games etc. have the Pal thingy. Not certain if it's gotten any better with the new consoles as far as compat. issues go.

Also, be aware that some game companies have US releases of games,, then rest-of-the-world releases... because of our game censorship,,,AHEM,,ummm,,"cough",,,I mean "rating" system.

Also beware...some games have geographical filtering...I've heard of it being on some Steam games. Like stuff bought in X country only works on PCs with IP addresses in X country.

PC Games? Yes
Xbox/xBox 360 Games? No, our consoles are PAL, US are NTSC as you said
PS3? Yes the PS3 is great in that there are (As of yet) no region control's on games, however Blu-ray movies do still have region locks.

So also be aware when buying DVD's over there, you might not be able to play them here without changing your region settings

It's not out on PC yet i'm afraid

So unless you have a PS3 or an american 360 you're stuck with our version, which technically only has one scene taken out (where a weapon is placed in a not so nice area of someone's body ) so you're not missing out on much
