Thunderbird Question

I clean out my trash and sent folders now and then, but at some point, they come back. Why does this happen?

I've never had that happen. What version are you running, and how do you clear them out?

I have the latest version and I just highlight and delete them from my trash ans sent folders

most likely you redownload the same emails but thats only a half anwer if your sent files also come back to the same folder. that is wierd.
