And I guess the point of that was that we don't necessarily need the best art, if we have a good story (even if we DO have the best art )

No, I just chanced upon a few screenshots. Actually, if I had the choice of all of the GoldBox games to play, I think I would play PoR first. But I like the ideas they had moreso than trying to do a remake of PoR, like the training hall where you could train OR battle a solo combat vrs a copy of your character (mirror combat), or the choose your personal picture for your character (and they had the option of male/female heads and bodies). I like the forgotten realms, but I'd rather do my own.
