I thought there was a "reform party"-button on one of the menus, probably the char sheet, just like in Baldur's Gate. Although I haven't played the game for some time, and do not remember it's exact place correctly.

Why can't you finish the dream-builder with Grace? I can recall no such limitations.

Just read over a walkthrough of the process and in no way should Grace be any issue, especially considering the dreambuilder is part of the core storyline.

Unless, of course, vesselle is unpatched and has ran into some game-crippling bug that messes up the dialogue or something. In which case I would suggest installing the latest patch.

*slaps her forehead* i totally spazzed out on that. thanks for the advice on dropping a character.

and i'm playing with the offiicial 1.1 patch installed before i started the game.

fyi, the problem is the woman who's in charge, she said something about not talking to me as long as grace was in my party because the people who commissioned it were mortal enemies with her.

and now comes the second problem, i think. i thought you got to go into a room thru the big door with the wheels and gears on the outside of it. then there would be a cut-scene of the dreambuilder in action. i'm pretty sure i did everything to get to that point. unless i'm missing the key for the door. i have a feather and thought that was the key.

oh yeah... i haven't done a thing with the anarchist plotline either.

does anyone remember if i've left out something?

I'm curious what's your Int and Chr stats at? I think I set mine fairly high when I played, which may have gotten me past that little racial issue.

As for your other problems haven't a clue, it's been like 2 years since I beat the game

Add: strange that an exact duplicate would have popped up right after Ocellis posted his comment.. very strange given the 4 hr difference between our posts and the additional hour before the clone post appeared.

Some kind of glitch with the new software maybe?

Well now, I feel stupid. We'll just leave it at that.

I think you have all you need. Maybe it's the wrong door? If memory serves, it's in the main hall, a little to the left. I might be wrong about the location inside the hall, though.

Wasn't the dream-builder in the north-eastern hallway in the lecturing hall? There's two projects going on in the foundry; one is the dream builder and the other is a super-secret weapon commissioned by the Baatezu for use in the Blood War.

According to the Walkthrough the dreambuilder was in the NW corner of the main hall. There's a big door and a little door IIRC and it's the little door you want. I may have to reinstall the game cuz this is bugging me now. lol

Add: egads, I used "lol" in a forum I thought I'd stopped doing that.

PPS: Did I just use the word "egads"?

Yeah, i vaguely recall there being more than one "mystery" door, and me trying the wrong one first. I think your walkthrough is correct.
