So i got sucked back into world of warcraft for the past 9 months or so....and im now sick of it again.
I play as a draenie priest on a pvp server...so basically im a free honor kill to whomever wants to kill me (unless i outgear them by a lot) Which has really really gotten old. So i was wondering if anyone would recommend a new awesome mmo to play? i used to play EQ1 back 8 yrs ago so i dont want to play that or any version of that again, and i tried D&D but it was set in eberron and was really rather lame with how it was actually set up to play. |

There's nothing really IMO. I too have taken breaks from WoW but finds there is nothing like it out atm, with the scope, content and popularity it has.
Guild Wars may be interesting to you though, some on IW play it. I have it too, but went back to WoW quick enough. Still, it may be the break you need.

Dark Age of Camelot isnt bad bud it is in it's in its decline. 5 years and it has just about run its course, population of all servers is way down etc.. Guild Wars is fun, but as in all these games they can be time synchs and such which is a pita!

Guild Wars doesn't have monthly payments so it's always a good investment. I play intensely for a month every 3-4 months and it's always lot of fun.
There's Tabula Rasa that's a SF mmorpg that just came out, but personally I'd probably wait for Age of Conan or Warhammer Online. Personally right now I'm giving Hellgate London a try. Not exactly a real mmorpg but it's a multiplayer action rpg with your characters saved on their server.

Ragnarok Online, just mindlessly killing monsters again again and again until you get level 99/50. After that, reborn your characters and kill monsters again again and again until you are level 99/70.
There's no quest and no stupid raid stuff. Just mindlessly killing monsters. |
