Saw this earlier today and thought to share. It's a video of a hippo in Africa that was rescued as a babe and is now a family pet. It's pretty cute, albeit scary cause they are usually human killers! Could cut you in two with one chomp!

I wonder how he managed to keep its leg... Hippo weighs at least 1000kg...

Well, it's in the story. It says "sometimes things get nasty because she is not housebroken" or something in that line. Which would probably mean that at least two or three times a day they have to shovel a few kilo of hippocrap. I bet an animal of that size can easily fill one of those plastic garbagecan bags per day.

I don't think i'd ever want to visit that house.

Black Baron - I'm guessing hippo must have just grazed a toe and the dog was quick enough to snatch it back LOL. The dog was wagging his tail afterward so must have been OK, and probably wiser.

Johnny - Me neither LOL! But for me I'd not want to visit the house more out of fear than anything else! I've heard too many horror stories regarding hippos and tourists in Africa! You simply cannot go near them. They are deadly. Like with sharks, you are most likey to die or be missing major limbage if bitten by one!

They are cute though for something so dangerous. And at the end of the video - soooo cuuute with the hippo sleeping on the porch with a blankie on it, with the dog snuggling up next to it. That's why I had to share the video, cause when do you ever see THAT LOL?

Yea, I seriously doubt some peoples sanity. Hippos are the most dangerous animal in Africa.

Ok, I KNOW I posted here... so I'm guessing Z is doing something that rolled back the time or something? Makes sense since Variol's thread about his ear vanished too....
