Thats got one of the dummest purchases anyone can make. You pay $500-$600 for the basic phone then you get to pay ATT $60/month. Thats another $720 a year. You could buy a good light weight laptop for that. But remember P.T Barnum, there's one born every minute.

hey its all about hype. some guy was offered 4,500 for his spot in the queue heh.

but its not just a basic phone though [img]tongue.gif[/img] . i looked at the capabilities and thought it was pretty cool.

It is cool but the same product has been out for years. But, like you say it is all about hype and apple know this so well now. Mp3 players were out for years and then the iPod acted like it was the first of it's kind and suddenly everyone bought one.

Ever since highschool I've not touched a mac product. For all I know they may indeed have a decent product, but I'll never pay the price they're asking. Obviously I don't have to, enough sheep go off munching their lawn for them.

Thing is, its features are nothing new to the mobile phone market. In fact, its only distinguishing feature is its interface, and that seems to be pretty terrible.
