Dream House

Describe your dream house.What would it be like?How big would it be?
Mine would be HUGE.I would have a 5 car garage.Inside the garage I have all a Lambrigini Diablo and Countach.An SUV.My dad's truck.(It shall be mine once I'm 18!)and a Dodge Viper.There would be for doors in the garage.Each leading into a different room.The first door would lead into my kitchen.In the kitchen there would be 7 refrigerators.Each would hold one of each food group.The seventh one for snack snacks and pops.There would be a huge cooking stove.There would be a bar in the middle complete with a little thing to hold wine glasses and such.There would be a bunch of cabinents full of cups,glasses,bowls,etc;.There would also be a walkway that would go into the living room.The second room in the garage would go into the lving room.The living room would be really big.It would have a big screen tv.On the walls would be paintings from Baldur's Gate,BG2,IWD,and IWD2 and other fantsey things.There would be custom made sofas and chairs,all would have built in body massagars.There would be a 2 coffee tables in the middle of the room.Both would have vases with white roses in them.
The vases would be made of pure gold.Against the wall would be a computer desk where I would get ont he internet.There would be a sliding glass door that led into my indoor pool.The final door in the garage would lead in a closet.Full of regualr things closets have in them.The pool area would have arcade games everywhere.Really big windows.The pool would be in the shape of a Penguin.It would be an indoor pool.It would go from 3 ft deep to 20 feet deep.I would have a water slide,a low dive and a high dive and plenty of pool toys.There would be a staircase in the lving room that went in the upper part of my house.The staircase would be made of pure diamond.In the upper part of the house would be my office,the master bedroom and bathroom,my work out room,my party room,my children's room,my computer room and my guest rooms.My bedroom would have a king size bed that could fit 4 people.It would be one of those that you can adjust to how you want to sit and how warm or cool it would be and how soft and firm it would be.There would also be a big screen tv.Plenty of dressers,and my walk in closet.The guest room would be just like my master bedroom.The master bathroom would have a silver bathtub,3 sinks,a toilet,a shower,and a hot tub.I would let the kids decorate there own room,as long as it was'nt too bad.My workout room would be full of body building equipment.My office would have a desk,a labtop,pencils,pens,papers,everything that an office would need.My computer room would be where all my computer games would be alon with other gaming systems.The party room is where I would have my music stuff at.And I think that's about all of it.

I would like to have a log home overlooking a small lake, out in the woods somewhere. My brother-in-law has a home that I would kill for . It's gorgeous.
At the rate I'm going, I might one day be able to live in a nice 3 1/2 apartment...

Don't know about the whole house but it would have an awesome library. Maybe something like you see in old English mansions. Floor to ceiling bookshelves on all the walls, wooden shelves, one of those sliding ladders. Huge tall room, some floor to ceiling windows with those heavy ponderous velvet curtains. Nice fireplace, big comfy chair in front for reading. A table for my cup of tea or glass of wine. Big heavy dark wood desk, one of those green bankers lamp. Nice dark thick comfy carpet. Ahhhh.

My dream house would be an underground home, similar in layout to the old roman style buildings with an atrium in the middle. The lowest level would be a parking garage - you drive into a hill to park. The middle level would be the main level of the house, with an open atrium surrounded by a ring of rooms. All rooms would have floor-to-ceiling glass (with drop down shutters, strong enough to stop a forced entry). The upper level would actually be a tower that pokes out of the ground. the ground level area of the tower would serve as a "walk-in" entrance, and provide access to the sunroom above. The highest level of the tower would a crenellated patio.

The rooms would include a study/library and a computer room with at least four networked computers. Surrounding the rooms would be a firewalled passage for fire egress and access to a "security" room which would control all utilities and record all activity within the building. edit> oh yeah, heating/ac would be with a heat pump and air exchanger system. Backup power would be in the "security room" and primary power would be supplemented by solar.

The one that my wife and I own right now.

It's just a plain old 1 story ranch, 3 bedrooms, 1 bath, kitchen, dining room and a living room. It didn't cost a lot, but it's all paid for now. The best part about it is that it's not just a house...it's a home and feels good to come to it after work with our dog there to greet us.

It's not much, but it is HOME! [img]smile.gif[/img]
