I'd have to say one of my greatest disappointments was Star Wars: Episode I.
I really expected more of that. IMHO, there were too many cool special effects and too little plot and storyline! I considered it rather cheap and ridiculous at times. Why the heck is a queen so good at weaponry, that's just one of the questions that pop to mind. And Jaja Binks (howdyou spell it) pretty much destroyed the movie. Whenever a bit of tension was building up, Jaja did something funny, or made a funny mistake. I was really disappointed by that movie. ------------------ ![]() ![]() Kazara Sapphire Dragoness of ALSB Waitress at Cloudy's Cafe Guardian of the Temple of Aerie (specialized in GenCon and BG) Most Illustrious Arch-Magess of the Illuminati Lux omnis est |

![]() Another big disappointment was Tim Burton's Planet of the Apes. Again, not a completely dire film, but just not as good as it ought to have been. ------------------ ![]() Time is an illusion. Gee, this is an easy one - the answer is :
DUNE I am betting that anyone who read the book, and eagery anticipated the movie, couldn't fail to be disappointed by the plot altered drivel that was served up (cringe) - I would like to take my gom jabbar and pluge it into the neck of that senseless director. Please don't make me watch that ever ever ever again, pleaseeeeeee..... No, I shall not be afraid. Remember dammit - "I must no fear. Fear is the mind killer. Fear is the little death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I will allow it to pass over and through me, and when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its'path. Where the fear has gone there will be nothing - only I will remain" OK, I am better now, I am at peace ![]() ------------------ ![]() Ironworks Revolutionary Splitter wannabe Founding Member, and General Demands Adviser of the O.R.T. |

I would also have to say Star War Episode I... the movie itself was not too bad but it really wasn't up to par with the other Star Wars.

Hmm, haven´t seen the D&D movie yet but sofar Plump Fiction, Waterworld are high up on my list. Also the last Star Wars movie was a bit disaponting as well. Darth Maul was the only cool character, thoose silly makeups and he still could look really angry and threatening, and the fight with the Jedis saved that movie. That ''''''''' Jar Jar.. Grrr, worst things to do i a movie is to send in some '''''' slapstick creature and destroy the feeling all togehter. I know that some people liked that bloody frogexcuse but I hated it!
Well, I have to rent the D&D movie sometime... ------------------ ![]() Be vevvy qwiet..I´m hunting wabbits... Wolfgirs lair once-upon-a-paper |
