I got to Sarevok last night and made an attempt (a rather pitiful one at that) to defeat Sarevok. I think my problem is my low levels (which has kinda been a problem all along). Can anybody tell me if I'm right? They are:
Me Fighter Lv. 6 Thief Lv. 7
Yeslick Fighter Lv. 6 Cleric Lv. 6
Khalid Fighter Lv. 7
Kivan Ranger Lv. 7
Safana Thief Lv. 6
Dynaheir Invoker Lv. 8

Does anybody know of a good place to spend time leveling up?

I know of the cave where you find the treasure cove that Safana wants you to get by resting and having a Flesh Golem attack almost every time you try to rest.

You could get Tales of the Sword Coast if you dont have it, otherwise the place you suggested is OK.

For the final battle, cast defensive spells and use wands and potions, summon monsters to fight for you and it shouldnt be too hard.

To defeat him with no prob (i didnt do this but its a simple way) Walk forward with ONE character (preferably one who can withstand skull traps aplenty) and walk forward VERY slowly until u see ONLY sarevok. Then walk back and paste hime without having to go thru his henchmen!

SIMPLE!

>>Your characters are fine to go up against Sarevok. I had a party of 4:

Me (Fighter): Level 7
Viconia: Level 8
Edwin: Level 7
Keldorn: Level 7

And I managed to beat him. The best tactic is to summon skeletons or monsters for fodder, and use ranged weapons against him. Spells like Flame Arrow work against him also. I managed to beat him with 2 Flame Arrow spells, about 8 or 9 Hobgoblins shooting arrows, and me throwing an axe. That cave where you are attacked by Flesh Golems, that is where the Tomb of Constitution is. I would advise you backtrack to there.

I found the tome of Constitution and all the other good stuff there too.

My levels aren't too bad? Wow, first time for that LOL! I think my problem was I didn't summon anything. I'll have to go back and try it. I gained a level on a couple of my characters so I should have a little easier time of it. Thanks for the advice!

Creeps! When you said Sarevok was tough I didn't think you meant that tough. I can't even survive his attack at the palace!
