Wow. Spooky. Japan is in love with robotics these days.. So smart, but I will worry when AI becomes self created. (Robot thinks for itself).
That will come in 15 years or so... Serious. Scary too.. Remember Terminator 2? ![]() Future robotics can be put to good use in 3rd world countries to help out. Sounds odd, I know. We just need to get fusion power cells. |

Spooky in a zombie way. They were slow. I wonder how they take obstacles. Also, predicting the future have proven to be very hard. There's too many wildcards (unexpected events/inventions who make the technology walk another way than expected). Try reading an old donald duck comics. There should be one where they predict year 2000 (made in the 1940's).

I am impressed by the technology, to be sure, but a robocat? No, thanks, I'll keep my living, breathing, furry ones that eat me out of house and home!

I bet the next "robots overtake humanity"-movie ala Barbarella will take place in Japan

To fight the robot threat we need to build a robot army of our own to fight on our side. Or perhaps include a simple killswitch.

Yeh, Choc would turn this 'robocat' into small pieces of metal and fake fur.
I'd like to see it with a cat, and see what the cat does.. maybe hiss, and smack at it? ![]() |

Who in their right mind would derive pleasure from gently stroking a robot cat?
