If I ever find my way to Florida, I think I'll skip this ride!
http://today.reuters.com/news/articl...Y-DEATH-DC.XML Also this morning, on a local radio station here, they had callers call in that had ridden on the ride. Every single person said they felt so sick afterwards they couldn't eat at all for the rest of the day! |

People that get onto rockets and go blasting off to places go through doctor-reviewed physicals and are not just trusted to know whether or not they are healthy enough to do so. This simulator sounds like its trusting people to know all possible personal health risks. Many people these days do not take the time to have yearly physicals unless they have a reason to do so. I think its a really stupid idea to simulate into a ride a flight as heavy on the body as this and trust people to their own health risk-taking.
There will be more deaths.

That's ominous, Larry. I was thinking it would be a great way to go on a diet.
I have a friend here that can't ride on the fast spinning rides, it messes up his equilibrium something fierce. He's never been critical, but he's been pretty green. It's sad that two people have died, but I question the responsibility of the parent that let a 4 year old get on the thing in the first place. I know I won't be able to ride it, health issues, but it sure sounds like fun.

Hmm.. that's the one ride we didn't go on that we wanted to. Guess it's a good thing we didn't.

She probably had a heart condition long before taking that Disney ride.

And going on that ride didn't help things
![]() Seriously the people who called into the radio station and talked about their experiences said they were pretty messed up after the ride. Unable to eat, feeling this pressure in their chests, equilibrium off, etc. Again, I say screw that. I'll stick to the rides that don't EFF up my internal working, especially when I'm not only paying for it, but waiting in line for ages for it. It's the same for that one "ride" a lot of themeparks have, the one where you all go into this circular walled contraption, and stand against the circular wall, and it starts to spin you around, and once it spins fast enough the floor drops out from under your feet, but it's going so fast you stick to the walls. Yeah, not a fan. Oh I'm spinning and dizzy, what fun. Cept not. I mean I can run around in circles on my own and get dizzy if I want. And who the hell wants to get dizzy anyway? I hate dizzy (not you "Dizzy, the IW member LOL). |

Well, if anyone ever wanted to commit suicide... ...and have the relatives file a lawsuit, this seems like the perfect place to do it. /snort.
Seriously though - I don't like rides even close to that to begin with - so no amount of money would ever get me to go on it

LOL I think this guy that just came over to my house is drunk enough to be feeling like he's sticking to a wall. LOL he was babbling some weird stuff, probably not just on alcohol LOL. Must have said the F word a good 50 times in 2 minutes flat LOL.
