(minor spoilers)

Throughout the course of the game, I have collected several unique... well, I guess you could call the 'items'. I have the body of Monturon, the head of that guy UNger Hildark sends you to kill (I think his name is Neb), red fabric from the Buried Alive quest, the Harper Amulet, The Umar Witch Project, The History of the Zhentarim (that I bought from the guy in Imnesvale after doing the Tanner Murders Quest), a lock of Jaheira's hair, a few others. So what do I do with these? I'm assuming a few are useless, or if I am right about what I think their uses are, I may not need them anymore (I am referring to the Haper Amulet that could be used in the upstairs of the Galvary Estate. I found it after I killed those ghost things, but kept it anyways. I also have numerous letters, journals, and records. If you know anything, let me know.

Neb’s head can go to the government building. Turning it into the constable there gives you some experience and some gold.

The letter and scrolls are mostly useless. So are the pile of keys you accumulate after opening up whatever door there designed for.

The Harper amulet is junk. As are most of the other things. Check your journal for clues otherwise.

I keep these items and pieces of items waiting to go to Cromwell’s forge in a crate at the Copper Coronet, sort of like mementos and just in case they really do have some extra purpose

Usless items:
red fabric (provided you've completed the quest)
Jaheira's hair (again as long as the "you know" is gone)
Harper Amulet
History of Zhentarim
The Witch Project book

I'm not sure about Monty's body, as I took the good guy route when I did Xzar's quest.

Usefull:
Neb's head (take it to the gov't district and give it to the man at the back of the Council of Six building.)

Why not take them all to the kitchen in the de'Arnise Keep and see if you can make stew?

Seriously, once you've used 'em, they're useless. Dump 'em all in a chest somewhere in case you ever need them for anything again.

And that's where the strongholds come in handy! The first time I played, before I got a hold, I always used the bordello room in the Coronet to stash my stuff.

It's amazing how never runs out of pages to write and he can jot things down in a matter of seconds.

Anyway, Monty's body is useless. It just tell you where Monty *really* went.

It`s useless right from the moment you get it: it provides no critical role in the quest, you don`t need it to find the man in red

Thanks guys. Hey, can you sell that Harper's Amulet anywhere? When i see it in my inventory when selling at a store, it says it's worth 150 gold. But it's icon is always blacked out. Any ideas?

Talking about a place to store stuff I find Cernds former home in waukeens promenade an excellent place to store stuff. There is alot of containers and it's near somewere you will return alot(the adventurers mart).
