The jury has reached a verdict. Don't know what it is yet, they plan on announcing it in an hour or so.

Any ideas what you think the outcome will be? I don't think he will be found guilty myself. I think he is btw, but the prosecution's evidence was not enough. Maybe he will not totally go free, get some sort of community service perhaps. Either way I'd be surprised if he gets anything requiring jailtime.

Question Mark

I suspect he will be found guilty, but his lawyers are also already planning for this and have the appeal completely written and ready to submit. The words "we find the defendant guilty" won't even have dissipated before Jackson's legal team will place the appeal into the bailiff's hands.

I agree, a guilty verdict, but his attorneys have been preparing the appeal papers all last week. The man should be suffer humilations galore (quoting Princess Bride-style) and then executed.

I have my doubts that he's actually guilty. My television is on, and I'm awaiting the answer.

Well, then, I certainly hope that is the last we hear from Mr. Jackson...unless he finally decides to put out another album. You know, he used to be a fairly talented musician....

The only ones that will be punished are we....the people. Jackson is now so broke, he HAS to produce new songs and go on tour again. Oh...the horror...

Well I guess the jury knows best...

by the way, here is a picture of a fan who released a pigeon when she heard the verdict...

Does anyone dare to imagine what would have happened to the bird if he had been found guilty...

Consider that the jury is a pretty intelligent bunch in this particular case and they have reviewed the evidence extremely thoroughly, even asking for a re-read of some testimony this morning.

Lol about the bird, although isn't it a dove?
