Ok, I heard this one on family guy, but I really don't get it:

Context: Stewie and Brian call a television program that's currently on air (like Jerry Springer) and say this as a prank.

Do you have fat albert in a can? Well you better let him out!

This is in the episode with the reality TV show, any help would be much appreciated.

The context in which the joke was said might help a bit.

Otherwise: Fat Albert is a source of comic gold, guaranteed to brighten up everything and anything with his very presence.

HEY HEY HEY

Links between fat albert a person and fat albert a canned product maybe..

Context is everything, except when it's not.

I seem to recall a variation of this joke, with "Prince Albert" instead of "Fat Albert". IIRC, Prince Albert manufactured tobacco or something like that, which could be purchased in a can.

That may be related...

It's just really really bad joke... not really wort it but I'm bored and will spell it out for you...

Fat Albert in a can is obviously a product of some sort, that many people are likely to have, however the name Albert is also a boygiven name and the joke is that poor Albert which is obviously fat, is stuck in the can... and you should let him out... or else you are a bad person... no really you are, letting poor Albert sit thee in the can... he would suffocate for sure...

Well, I've heard the joke with "Prince Albert in a can," and it's likely that you just confused the two. Either that, or they were just messing the joke up, but not beyond recognition.

Isn't a Prince Albert in a Can a piercing through the head of a penis?
