Hello,
just a bunch of general questions about the mods which I will soon start to play in earnest.

- can you play Shadows over Sourabor, Darkest Days, Epic Endeavors, etc. together, at once, or do you have to go throught the game with each, one at a time. I have never come across any reference to this in any of the support documentation.

- any word on the drangonlance mod? It is supposed to be a COMPLETELY independent game from SOA/TOB (using only the engine, and some monsters, characters, items,...). This looks to be REALLY cool (sort of like a lateral BG3)!!

- does anyone have any feedback on any of these mods? I'd hate to play one all the way through only to learn that its a stinker, a hack job, window dressing.

- does anyone have a favorite mod? If so, which one?

- I'll try Sourabar - any advice, recomendations? Chapter one has been pretty much the same as BG2.

The Darkest Day and Shadows over Soubar are not compatible. Epic Endeavours is a complete conversion to other plot and setting ( no longer Forgotten Realms! ). You'll have to chose amongst those three. Smaller mods ( all those romances, new NPCs, item/spell packs, etc.) should be compatible with both TDD and SoS, not with EE.
Visit this for additional info.

Hello,
look to: http://www.planetbaldursgate.com/bg2/media/files/

to get to: http://www.teambg.net/ and click on "Dragonlance".

Is it just me, or do not many people play these mods?

I have the darkest day, epic endavours, the battle of helm's deep and some NPC mods. So far (5 minutes epic endavours, and till the 2nd lvl of Irenicus'dungeon and about an hour bohd) I think the battle of helm's deep is the best of all. But I'm really looking forward to playing the dragonlance mod.

Must get ToB. It looks very promising but is it ready? I can't find a download button (though I don't need it know now).

Erm... ToB is the official expansion of SoA. You do not download it, you buy it.
