spam has found a way around my hotmail filters! i have it set to exclusive where if you're not on my list you ain't getting in. but they set it up as the "from" address being something on my safe list "aw-confirm@ebay.com" most of us using ebay will have that particular address not blocked. so it really sucks. since i don't use my old ebay account tho i reported it as jusnk but we can't do that if it shows up in nathan's box

Hey RevRuby - I don't use Hotmail really, but hunt around your spam options. There are tell-tale signs when an email is spoofed and a decent spam checker should be able to spot them. Is there some kind of learning filter?

You should get gmail. I don't think I've gotten 1 spammy email yet. Got 6 invites if you want one!

I second that, only had ne piece of spam the whole time, but then again, that was because I used to leave my address viewable in my profile and I never gave it to another website. But anyways, gmail works just great.

i have gmail, and hotmail and yahoo. i have a purpose for each one. the spam filters would have caught this one if they had not placed the "from" address as they did.

Gmail is suppose to be good and free of spam. However, ever since i oblidge a friend and sign in in his Monarch Health Programme. My gmail is bombarded by hundreds of emails from various people in that programme. There is nothing I can do to stop them from coming into my mail but had to put them immeidately in trash. I got hotmail account but I had since long have ditch them due to the numerous spams I got. Currently my lycos mail is still relatively free from spam.
