My game is lagging, you know skipping. I have a 566mhz with 384mb ram, a 64mb video card, full install... that's even above the recommended sys requirements. Why would it be skipping, what can I turn off so that it runs better (without decreasing visuals MUCH)?
Also, I read on a web page that there is a button that lets you find hidden things, the treasures of a fallen enemy, how do I turn this on and off? I'm in the torture chamber place and the walls are making it hard to see the bodies. Thanks. Also, also... How do I multi class (when making my PC)? I was a clicked on all the class buttons but they just opened up the Kit section, the Multi class button was never lit. [ 08-26-2002, 12:28 PM: Message edited by: Halbarad1891 ] |

Odd. Try making sure that you dont have something in the background. Usualy turn out to be the cos when it comes on all of a sudden. Other than the the best trick is to turn off 3d acceleration, you get used to the visuals after a while and the frame rate usualy rises. Or turn down pathfinding.
The TAB key will highlight items on the ground, containers and doors. But only if you have ToB installed. I never multiclass so I dont know, the manual covers it though. One thing - multiclassing is for *NON-HUMANS* only. Half-elf is probably hte most human-like of the non humans, ALthough your character will be more effective if you choose a more appropriate race. Dwarf fighter, gnomish theif, elven mage, you know what I mean?

Are you playing in Multiplayer? If so, move the savegame from mpsave to save folder. That solved similar problem of mine.
