Check this out. One of my buddies plays WoW, and is in a guild with this fellow, so it's hearsay...but an interesting story, nonetheless.

sad fact is the kid being needing anger management.

kids will take things too personally especially with grievers like in WoW

(must....not...laugh...) HAHAHAHAHAHA!!

Ok, it's sad that the kid got sent to a psyche ward, but still. That is funny.

That's really messed up. I've had some problems with PK'ers in the past, but none of my family got beat up over it. I don't play WoW either though, maybe it means more there.
One of the comments below the audio really rings out though, what were his parents doing, letting an 11 year old play that, unsupervised, to begin with. Rings of the "Here, have whatever you want, just leave us alone" thing that is all to common these days.

Well WoW itself isn't a bad game for children to play. It's way less graphically violent than most single player game, and the cartoony look appeal to kids.

It's the multiplayer community that's the problem, but a parent that isn't into multiplayer wouldn't really know that and would miss it on his inspection of the game while his son is playing around in Elwin Forest,

Yeah, it's real hard to tell when your kid is reacting to the game by developing anger issues:
