2 Player Char?

Upon reading a old post: When being evil goes wrong... ...very wrong... ...for me , I noticed his party opening statement:

"I played a neutral evil Necromancer and a chaotic evil Swashbuckler, Irenicus's Dungeon was a breeze, and Jaheira and Minsc died in their cages, with my help of course... I told Imoen and Yoshimo to take a hike and never really encountered any serious problems... so far so good... ..."

neutral evil Necromancer AND a chaotic evil Swashbuckler

I know there are no current NPC's of this origin (I dont think, please omit this post if I am wrong) so how did this person create 2 char.?

You can start a multi-player game and make your own party, as many members as you want, then you go to your baldurs gate files and move that save file from the multiplayer folder to the single player one and can play single player with your own custom party.

If you start a multiplayer game, then you can create up to 6 characters and assign control over all of them to yourself. Additionally, once you save the game, you can move it from the multiplayer folder to the single player folder and then play the game in single-mode.

Ok, I see now, does creating a party in multi and xfering it to single affect any major events throughout the game? (what would happen without imoen etc.) and also, if you remove a created char will you have options like: Stay here we'll come seek you if we need your services, or Just go to the Copper Coronet we'll seek you there if we need you, etc. etc. or will they be gone forever?

I think if you play multiplayer, the romances are disabled. And it depends on what happens when you send a player-created NPC away... The best thing to do is go someplace safe where you can keep them, cast Olituke's Resilient Sphere on them, use control-k to kick them out, and RUN before they get out and talk to you. If you need them back just go back there and tell them not to leave the party.

You can still have romances if you port your mpgame to a spgame.

There is a mod that allows you kick out mp party members safely.

Well, I dont like using mods and I'm interested in creating 2 char for single instead of one, is there any other way around except mods/cheat dundee ?
