She has Stoneskin cast on her. You should either find that Rod of Cancellation (if there is one.. my memory's shot for the day.. I just know that there's an item that casts Ruby Ray of Reversal) or just keep hacking away and wear it down. Or have someone cast Spellstrike. Who's in your party?

The same disadvantages you'd get if you were lvl drained ...
A loss of experience, and thus a worse THAC0, less HP, less HLA's. less spells etc. etc. than normal.

Allmost every noteworthy boss in ToB is immuned to lvl drain by the way

Level drain can slowly kill any monster with a huge amount of HP.. Unfortunately, there are very few monsters in the legit game with so much HP that make this method practical. A friend figured this out when I got fed up with his hacked char and sent an Alu-Fiend with 9000 HP and five attacks per turn against his superman char.. She got level drained with his stupid Black Blade of Disaster and I had to go back to the drawing board.

Oh dear
I have a mate with a hacked char, CTR Q'd him (he didn't even play the game. As soon as he opened the box for the first time, out came SK and whoops, there goes a lvl 98 sorcerer who can cast 1000 spells per level, has c of -20, THAC0 of -40, staff of magi+5, stats ofd 25, etc.)so he didn't know anything about, say, Immy's belt.

After having ONLY played the game with a cheated char, thus taking all the fun out of it, he had the audacity to whine to me that the game was boring.

Yay! Thank you!
If you want, there is a VERY good book that contains many pseudo-obscure words that can be used to describe very specific things. Ever in a situation when you can't think of a good word, but you just wish there was a word to describe that exact situation? Pick up "There's a word for it: The grandiloquent guide to life" in your bookstore today! Tell them Illumina sent you and recieve no benefit whatsoever!
