Hmm....... can anyone give me some details on whether you get more xp with higher difficulty levels, i dont think that includes XP from quests or does it. Please do explain this to me.

In the manual, it says that with lower difficulty levels, fights will be easier, but you will get less XP for them.

Thats the way it worked in BGI, I assume it works the same way in BGII
