I have been through the maze every which way and found the key for the third level and two stones, one from the mad elf and one from the trapped demons who played the game for the way out. I cannot get to the third level because I can find the third stone. This is my second time through the game so I am not worried about a spoiler, I just cannot remember how to get past. HELP Please

If I remember correctly, the 3rd stone is on... someone (no spoilers here) at the exit room of the maze level.
You'll know it when you see it. It's more like a cave then a proper 'room'.
You'll have to gamble for the last stone (hint).

Actually there is no way to answer this without a spoiler. The stone you want is held by a group of demons fighting another group of demons. If you are of evil alignment you can help one of the groups and get the stone as part of a reward. If you are good you have to fight everybody, you will find the stone on one of the bodies. Fighting both groups gives you a lot of exp but they both are tough and surprisingly (at least to me) require different tactics. One group's attacks are more physical, the other more magical so be prepared.

If you have to fight both of them it will be VERY hard as you have little space to fight and also you have to fight against many demons at once...and you have to do this TWICE!!

Also to Hayashi and deverance he said he DOESNT CARE if THERE IS a spoiler...
