Since we had nearly 35 degrees (celsius that is) for a week here recently we all had to come up with solutions.
My best friend purchased a portable AC for half his monthly salary => cool! (but a power sucker and not as effective as we thought it would be) I'm still satisfied with my 135W industrial floor fan. Sounds like a Messerschmitt Bf-109 but makes me feel like gone with the wind ![]() For bad heat attacks I use 2l Coke bottles which I placed in the freezer filled with water => 2kg ice block - aah What do you guys do in case temperature makes your blood boil?

Drink, drink, and drink some more. For the rest there's not much i can do to protect myself from the sun, since my job is outside.

The ceiling fans they sell here in Austria suck.
I'm used to the old ones I know from India - they blow you away. the ones you can get here are so weak they don't even disassemble the papers on my desk

Simple solution, just turn on the Air-Con.

I NEVER leave the sanctuary of my computer room!! Well It helps to where light clothing and if you have something to fan yourself with, use it. If I'm moving and keeping active I don't notice the heat really.

Call me a sicko, but I love the heat and humidity! The only time that it bothers me is when I go to bed. Then I etiher turn on the air or fan.

I work outside so I just have to live with it. When the temp goes over 100 and it's very humid I'll go home. And my house has central air with one of the vents aimed at my computer desk.
