First David Brinkley and now Gregory Peck (he was great in The Big Country, Twelve O'Clock High, and Roman Holiday). It reminds me of a few years ago when Robert Mitchum died and the very next day Jimmy Stewart passed on. Bummer!

Yeah, just read about it. Apparently he died peacefully in bed next to his wife. And if i'm not mistaken he was 86. He had a good life, but all good things come to an end unfortunately. So rest in peace Greg.

That is sad news indeed.
I haven't watched many old movies, but I did catch To Kill A Mockingbird and Roman Holiday. From what I saw, he was this gentlemanly, attractive, stylish yet humble actor - rather hard to find, these days. Well, he is now gone to join my other favourites - Audrey Hepburn and James Stewart. My condolences to his loved ones. |

Never can forget his role in David and Bathsheba. The acting world has lost one of its greatest members.

Of all the (few) films I watched in which he starred, I remember his roles in "To Kill a Mockingbird" and "Twelve O'Clock High" the most.
RIP

It´s sad. It´s the time, though, when many old tv faces are getting into that age.

Guns of Navarone was great. I also liked To Kill a Mockingbird, which followed the book relatively well. I've yet to see the other flicks mentioned, but intend to rent Boys from Brazil soon.
