Who is your favorite NPC? I can't decide between those two (and Boo). Jan is really great. He allways comes up with those stories about relatieves and turnips. He is just hilarious!!! Another thing is, I had him in the Shaogin city, and he asked the beholder guarding the chest to open it himself, that way he wouldn't break his contract with the mad drow. The beholder said he allows my party to open the chest, while he would look away. When I took the tooth away, he said he wouldn't guard the damn empty chest for another 40 years, he would rather eat those "bastard imps", and then he disapears. That whole guest is just great, but having Jan in the party makes it just better!
I also like it when Jan tries to steal Boo, or tells knighty (Keldorn) about the love story between a flesh golem and a knight of the order...

I can't stand Minsc myself for some reason, so Jan is my favourite of the two. Nothing can beat Edwin's brilliance dialogues, though.

I never played an all evil party, often my main character is just neutral, giving me the freedom to take whatever character I want in my party, using the neutral protagonist as the "link" between good (Imoen for example) and evil (Edwin).

Awg, it's just that I don't want to decide what kind of party I want when I start (re)playing... I always start off with a neutral main character. And sometimes my party tends in the direction of evil, sometimes not at all. But I like the freedom in it, though...

I agree with you. These two are the best npc in the game for the dialogues and for playing too. Your main character has this same dialigue with the guardian beholder if Jan is not in the group, but surely he adds a special touch to the game

I personally think that MINSC and Anomen are cool, sorry. I think Anomen isn't that bad and well, Minsc is the MAN!! he kicks a$$. hehehe.. Anomen is one of the coolest clerics. I can't stand Arriee, she just too bothersome and annoying!! On that fact I also dislike Jahera. She is such a damn stickler, and Don't get me started on Nalia the weakling idoit.

Jaherias a sticker? lol; thats one of the MAIN reasons I take her along. I find it amusing... I also find Aeries tantrums amusing... to an extent. I cant stand edwin. he *really* gets on my nerves. A pity I can't write my OWN replies... then he'd know arrogence. Anomen, well... hes OK I suppose... if you like 'knights in shinning armour'. I for one dont. Elves anyday of the week. Jan... well Jan is jan, hes OK too, so is minsc, but they're both crazy, hehe, which is good I suppose. They're fun to have along some games... Nalia... is a tempary inconvience....

Jan and Minsc's humor gets tiring. Fast. And I agree, Edwin is God.
