SPOILEER HUGE 1 Ok I am at the final showdown. I found Ireincus he then summons a lolt of demons and they r way 2 powerful plus Ireincus turned into a slayer dang. I fought em and I died in seconds...............does anybody have advice 2 offer mwa

Well, can you go back? Have you tried different tactics? what class are you and whos in your party? You should post more info then we can help.
I myself have neever got that far but my sister has. I feel so ashamed

What I did was this:
Before triggering Irenicus' appearance, I summone the strongest monsters I could and set them in strategic locations. I hasted everyone, did protection from evil, etc.
When Irenicus appears, I run south and let the monsters fight. Then from a safe distaance I summoned more and sent them to fight. As they all died and I was forced to fight for myself, I tried to ensure I was facing only one ore two baddies at a time. I was able to take care of the henchmen pretty easily and then that just left Irenicus himself to deal with.

The first thing I do, is to make my thief set up traps, and alot of them, since Irenicus and his crew are so strong. Then I make my Mage summon lots of creatures/animals for me, the Pit Fiend is especially strong. But remember to protect your party from evil!
Then, I make sure that all my characters are ready to fight, before I make Irenicus come. Always place your ranged combaters longer back!
And then, when all the chit-chat is done, and Irenicus and his friends has stepped in my traps, I make my ranged warriors and most of my magic-users take care of the Demons, along with the summoned animals/creatures, while all my tanks and the rest of my magic-users make squash out of Joneleth. That works great for me, you should be able to deal with them after a couple of reloads, when you get used to the tactic.

tHANX GUYS I USED SOME OF UR GUYS ADVICE I TRIED IT COUPLE TIMES AND DIDN'T WORK SO I INVENTED MY OWN. IT IS PRETTY good. I summon some monsters *doesn't matter they don't last long anyway% then i open the door and after da chit chat i used haste and went back while my monsters were fighitin the demons and me monsters died in secs. I turned into a slayer "Joneleth" came and i fought head on along with Cernd and Minsc. Imoen was casting the dispel magik spells and everything was going preetty good and I defeated him! But what sucks is he got me 2 so I died. I had 2 reload many many times took me a hour 2 finnaly kill him. Saw the movie and u know. Gotta save up money 4 Throne of Bhaal! Tanx guys I couldn't have done it without u!

well done Sythe [img]smile.gif[/img] .... Did you end up killing the demons? That is always the best way IMO... kill the demons first.. then move away from the teleporting slayer, heal up, slayer transform (If evil... or good but very weak and desperate) and then charge on and use normal tactics from there [img]smile.gif[/img]

I have a very simple tactic. I have my tanks (Jaheira, Minsc, Valygar, Anomen) fight the baddies one-on one, some shambling mounds and some fire elementals helping too. then I have my two mages, Me and Imoes, cast offensive spells. I cast Horrid Wilting, she casts Chain lightning. Over and over. Then they die, Joneleth is easy after that. Have minsc with his cloak of mirroring fighting Jon, so jon wastes all of his spells on Minsc, and have the mages cast dispelling and offensive spells. Works like a charm.
