Cannibalism victim ate their own flesh before they died!

OK, check this out folks, taken from a New Zealand Channel One News bulletin :

The victim in the cannibal murder case in Germany wrote his will immediately before he met his murderer, authorities said on Saturday amid mounting indications that victim and killer both engaged in cannibalism. "The victim appeared to be fully aware of the situation," an investigator said. Videotape material definitely shows both him and the suspect engaged in eating his own flesh prior to his death." Law officers who have seen the video made by the suspect of the final moments of his victim's life were said to be undergoing psychiatric counselling. The 41-year-old suspect, identified only as Armin M, admitted having videotaped himself killing the man he had met via a gay Internet chat room. Both men were computer experts, both described as `internet addicts'. His 42-year-old victim, a computer chip developer at Siemens Corporation in Berlin identified only as Bernd Juergen B., willingly allowed himself to be led to the slaughter, police said.

I read the article and things like that arent all that uncommon. The man charged with murder is what is known as a "cutter" or "trophy hunter" in S&M circles.

As for the murder aspect of it, well it seems to me that the supposed victim knew what was going to happen and was looking forward to it. The guy wrote a will,sold all his stuff,took a day off of work,and ATE HIS OWN NUTS!! If you take al that into account, it looks like more of an assisted suicide than a murder. I mean the police have a video and they dont say he resisted in any way,shape or form.

Hmmm, Now it seems that that is obviously a rather extreme example of body modification
However it raises the issue pertinent to this,
Not That It’s not anyone’s place to complain about what people do in the bedroom,
But I mean, what person in their right mind would want to be castrated?
I suppose it could be something to do with body dysmorphia, and I doubt many doctors or whatever would carry that out or even recommend it.
But It raises the issue of where must the state intervene to protect people from themselves, For example Heroin is banned because It’s bad for you and addiction will most likely lead to your death, alcohol is banned for those under 18 since misuse can lead to your death and only 18 years old or over is considered informed enough to risk it,
But where does the right of the individuals over their own bodies begin and end?
Since of course The Risks associated with such things and the effects can be got from other things too, alcohol can make you impotent, Skiing can kill you etc and both are leisure activities that people choose (at first in the case of alcohol) to do.

So While I personally Find S & M Disgusting, It’s very much a case of different strokes for different Folks, and The Risks inherent within Cannot Be Reduced without heinous restrictions on all peoples liberty If I want to be non-hypocritical, or Looking like an intolerant person If I just declare that bad.
And Since IMNSHO, Euthanasia should be allowed, Since that counts as an assisted suicide, and It was all consenting, While I find it revolting, There doesn't seem to be anything wrong with it. I mean, Perhaps The Bloke who ate himself and then died should have perhaps seen a psychologicst?
but ultimately If he really wanted to, I don't think there's much you can do to stop him, And should we really in the end?

Quite possibly yes. I can't wait to see the inevitable celebrity version where they eat their own implants and die of chemical poisining. Well some of them anyway, the anorexic ones will probably want to go first but since there is so little of them that isn't going to last long. Now Im not sure how risky saying that the girl from you have been framed will be the last survivor is so I won't say that. It might be offensive. However it would be the most amusing clip to ever be shown on her truly monstrous program which is worse than any cannibalism fetish.
