stupid joster

ok... thief stronghold... joster comes every five days telling me i have to pay him otherweise i will lose my stronghold.... but while i was trying the different risk levels for my thiefs... i would rest for five days... see how it turns out... give different ordes.. rest for five days... and so on... once its over and i got the best orders i loaded my game... anyway my point is that i would not pay joster for some 30 days and still he would not say anything,.. how come? am i not supposed to lose my stronghold??

It's a bug in the thief stronghold quest - you never have to actually pay the guy [img]smile.gif[/img]

I've picked up a great mod which enhances the thief stronghold quest in many ways (including repairing this bug). I can't remember where I got it from now though. Includes a few extra people in the guild and some old faces from BG.

Also, don't bother with the different "risk" levels - just pick the maximum risk level everytime - if someone gets captured, repeat - once any thief has gone through a half-week without capture they will never be caught and you can get the maximum funds every week.
