I am really in a desperate, gloomy mood. I keep thinking about death,... my meaningless life and so on.

Anything to cheer me up, guys, please,...

Listen to some slow and beautiful music, Warhammer. Turn your mind towards things of a positive nature.

Sounds like case of 'The Blues' big time - which I think we all get every once in a while.
If you mean thinking about death as in suicide then you have a little more than the blues mate. I'd recommend talking to someone about whatever is bothering you (friend, collegue, partner, parent) and try to vent anything that arises emotionally. If you don't feel like talking then write. Write down how your feeling - all that matters is that you vent these feelings by talking or writing, the expression is all that counts. This way they can exit you and you can move on.

A ham sandwich walks into a pub and orders a pint of lager. The barman says 'sorry mate we don't serve food in this pub'!

Do I see a smile Warhammer? Just a little one.

My friend Catherine commited suicide on Friday - I saw the devestation she left behind. It's not a pretty sight.

'twould help to know yer age lad. It bears greatly upon yon mental condition. If you be of Teen years, console yer self with the knowledge that most all folk before ye survived those turbulent mental abberations called teenage depression to live long and happy lives. If ye be a bit older than the teens, ye may want to consider a good counselor. And if ye be postivly decrepit and have entered yer 40's or older, then you might consider laying face down in a ditch
