On the advice of Horatio Ive made this thread just to introduce myself to the rest of the Ironworks community, so HELLO!!
I like most of you probably love RPG's, been only 17 I havent been playing them very long and have no D&D Background or knowledge as many of you will have, my first RPG was Lufia for the SNES.
My faviourite RPG ever plus my faviourite console RPG, was FinalFantasy VII as that was the first RPG that I had on my Playstation and despite not been my first RPG really brough me into them, loved the storyline, loved the graphics, loved the system and loved the graphics
It was my 13th or 14th Birthday when i got a Playstation and I could select a game to go with it from Toys'R'Us and Id never heard of FF7 before, thus not knowing it was an RPG, and luckily I picked that just because of the cool sounding name
On the PC my faviourite is Baldurs Gate, I got it when ti first came out and I had never heard of it but it was on offer for £10 when I bought UO so I bought it just because I love a bargain, only recently have I started playing it fully after it lied abandoned under my bed only having been played once before, im currently up to trying to find the cause of dissapearences in East Baldurs Gate in the sewers, my main party is Oneing(ranger), Imoen, Khalid, err his wife!, Viconia and Edwin.
I am currently at College in the UK in a town called Middlesbrough and im doing A level IT, A Level Graphics, A Level Business Studies and redoing GCSE Maths for the second time
I want to be the network admin for all of the North East hospitals of Britain, as that is my dad's job position, I went along to his workplace South cleveland Hospital which is the largest in Europe for my works experiance and immidiatly knew that was what I wanted to be, to take over from my dad.
On the side I like to do my own music, I use CakeWalk, Pro Tools and ReCycle to make Techno and Electronica music, id like to be able to do it professionally but my reality mindset keeps me in focus of that network admin job, but who knows! maybe you's will hear of me in the future, my music name is....guess...Sio, my name real Life name been Simon Anderson, the O on the end of Si is a swedish O with the line through it
My hero been Aphex Twin AKA Richard.D.James. Who is also my faviourite music artist.
My Faviourite book is Fear and Loathing In Las Vegas, and my faviourite film is a toss up between The Shining and Fear and Loathing In Las Vegas
Id keep on typing but im sure thats enough info plus more for my introduction

See You's on the boards!

Sio

Wow...someone actually followed MY advice. What a turn up for the books!!!
Hey, a very...detailed intro there. You've been on here for a while now, so you may/may not have noticed that IW is run VERY smoothly, and with no tolerence of trolls or smammage whatsoever. Follow the rules, and you'll be fine, just like the rest of us.
God, I'm beggining to sound like Cloudy, so I'll just finish.
hi!!!

Welcome, Sio! Gamers of all backgrounds are welcome here, as you are! We hope you enjoy Ironworks.

I'm only vaguely familiar with British systems of grading, but from what I understand, if you're doing your A levels, you're doing great! Keep up the great work!

It's good to meet you!

Cheers,
-Sazerac

A levels: see-horrificly boring exams you do at 17-18
I'm on my GCSEs now, I have a year until the oh-so-delightful AS levels, and two until the God's-gift-to-british-suckers A levels! Lucky us...^_^
