Is there someone that use the Opera Web Browser here?
I downloade it yesterday and i think it is wery good and fast, compared to IExplorer. It also have buildt in "popup" killer and Java support and that is cool
I try it on IW and some other sites it is faster than iexplorer to load IW and so on i try 5 diffrent times so i will continue to use it for sometime to see if there are any bugs in it.

I just stick with my Earthlink browser, despite the fact that Earthlink posted a $20M loss for the previous quarter...I hope they stay in business. Oh, well.

Heard of it. One of the more famous "indie" browsers iirc.
Is it freeware? Shareware? Or do you have to buy it?

I tried it once, and found it horrible.
The freeware version is slow as, and has absolutely no support for tables or frames; which basically every site I`ve ever been to uses.
The registerd version might be better, though... I`ve only used the freeware.

I use Opera at home (the freeware version) and it is great! The only difference with the free version that I can see is that you get a banner ad at the top of the browser (on the toolbar), but it's not intrusive.

It is a lot faster than IE!

Yes Epona i also must say it is damn fast when i try IW and i also use the "auto" proxy server thing in the browser LOL so when i log on to the net and go to IW it is up in 2 sec then i refresh or reload IW that take no more than most 3 sec so that is darn fast !!

I've used Opera for about a year, and I like it more than the others. It crashes sometimes, but that's not a problem since it saves the pages you were at and lets you continue from there. The only problem I've had is when some annoying sites say "This site is incompatable with your browser, get Internet Explorer.." and refuse to let me attempt to view it. (But those are really rare, and aren't usually good sites anyways ^_^)

I use Opera at home and work and absolutely love it.

It is free but you have an ad banner at the top of the screen. If you decide to support the effort for $30 you get rid of the ad and get a little more browser space.

The only catch part so far is that there aren't too many financial sites that accept Opera, even when it is emulating IE or Netcrap but they are working on fixing that.
