"Pinhole camera"
take a piece of paper, or cardboard for a "deluxe" version. Poke a hole in the center, then hold or stabalize the paper (or cardboard) so that the shadow cast contails a dot of light through the hole. The further from the surface the paper is, the larger the dor of light will be. As the eclipse happens, you can safely watch it through by watching the shadow and dot of light. It works. ![]()

And read the caption under the image. (You can even click on the image for an even HIGHER res image of this pic) I've been going to http://antwrp.gsfc.nasa.gov/apod/archivepix.html since 1995 or 1996 and each day they have a new image. Also, a lot of good Hubble images! |
