Don't know if it's absolutely confirmed, but I just heard that Iraq has approved in using chemical weapons against US soldiers!! This is really, really bad. I don't think Bush will drop his threat because of that (he said he would retaliate with nuclear weapons) so that means big trouble... Where has the world gone to..

How can Bush retaliate with Nuclear weapons?. He is meant to be minimizing civilian casualties.
If he did this, I hope the whole world would rise up against him.

This is what is called an 'unconfirmed rapport' - i.e. wild speculation

Chemical weapons would not likely do much harm. Too much dependence on wind direction and other fidgety factors. The sandstorm going on over there today would certainly preclude the effective use of such weapons.

But if a chemical or biological weapon were to be used *effectively* on US troops (meaning large numbers of deaths - you get the picture), I personally would support the use of small tactical nukes.

Last I heard the authorization of chemical weapon usage was unconfirmed.

As for Bush using nukes, I highly doubt he'd do something like that. If anything we're to set off another world war, that would be it.

The authorization may be unconfirmed, but the recent coalition finds indicate that the Iraqis are ready for chemical warfare.

Bush won't use nukes, even if other WMD are used by Iraq.
