From the artical - Radio transmissions had been detected coming from caves above the villages, said military officials in Washington. Hmm, sounds intresting. Seems action is picking back up in Afghanstan. [ 03-20-2003, 01:30 AM: Message edited by: Iron_Ranger ]

That bit about the increased radio use was intresting. Did they think America and it's allies can only concentrate on one thing at a time?
And I wonder how keenly N Korean officials are watching CNN and BBC? |

Where do they come up with these titles for events...Operation:Valiant Strike...Operation:Iraqi Freedom...Liberty Shield...etc.
Do they have a phrase generator or is someone given the job to just come up with them on cue? ![]() Mark |

Well, this was posted on a site called the Onion. News Satire. The title of thiers is: Military Promises 'Huge Numbers' for Gulf War II - The Vengence They wrote it like a movie review. I wonder how (in)accurate it will be.

I think that Saddam names his plans, too.
Years ago Saddam launched Operation: Confuse the UN. ![]() Right now, he is well into initiating Operation: Oh Crap! ![]() Soon Saddam will launch Operation: I Should Have Complied. DISCLAIMER - This is in no way meant to be disrespectful to the real life situation facing Allied troops and innocent Iraqis.
