I saw the report on MSNBC news bytes this morning, and I will try to post a link later.
An Iraqi man ran in front of a UN Inspector's caravan and stopped it screaming, "Save Me, Save Me!". The man was taken by the inspectors back to their compound where he was questioned before being turn over to local Iraqi police. While the UN inspectors probably didn't have any other option in this unusual circumstance, this episode can't make Iraqis who would like to co-operate more fully with the UN comfortable about what will happen to them after they share their information. Yes, i saw it on the news. The Iraqi security took him away, we'll probably never hear from him again. I also saw someone trying to attack the inspectors with a knife, they think it was an Iraqi securityguard. I'm not sure what to think about all this, it looks like a big circus to me, a daily soapseries.
