I've never tried Greyhawk, but I choose it just because FR has Elmunchkin who should be decapacitated, chopped up in seventeen different ways, be stripped of all his powers and sentenced to an eternity of torture in the Abyss for the sin of munchkinness.

I prefer Forgotten Realms as the world seems better put together. Remember, alot of the terrain in Greyhawk was randomly generated by Gary when his players entered a particular map hex. Plus, I never liked spaceships in a fantasy world.

Realms, I like the personalitys and all the evil groups. Seems a more interesting and detailed world to me. I also like having lots of magic. I've read a lot of the novels set in the realms so I've become attached to it. Easier for me to DM too for that reason.

Greyhawk blows...simply a mediocre world. Forgotten Realms is definitely better than Greyhawk.

but Dragonlance is by far the best world ever. I mean, if you're going to go with a pre-made world and the depth of characters and the whole spirit of the world, nothing is better than Krynn. Nothing. and Raistlin Majere rules.
