I thought some of you search vets could help me out. My wife is taking a sewing course. She came home tonight and wanted to show me something on the machine. When we turned it on it said "SP" in the display and we couldn't clear it. I did some searching but no luck. I could really use some help.

The Model is a Janome Harmony 8080 and I'd like to know what "SP" in the digital display means. Thanks

Sorry, my searches were also fruitless. What kind of sewing machine do you have though! You're making the old pedalling one my mum uses look like it's from the stone age

I couldn't find the error message, but I did find the www.janome.com website where you can submit questions to their tech support.

Thanks to both of you! Even the sewing machines are just computers now. You just enter the type of stitch you want and it does it for you (when it works).
I bought it for her for Christmas for a great price at Sears. You can spend $4000 or more on these things today. One of the ladies at the sewing class has one that's $3500 and the sewing table was $1000! Crazy or what?
